Titanic Quarter Ltd. commissioned a pedestrian walkway along Victoria Wharf, connecting Titanic Slipways to Alexandra Dock.
Following an initial application to gain permission for the boardwalk, a design competition was held and Hall McKnight Architects were appointed to masterplan the route, and design the structure to house the former Mew Island Lighthouse Optic, the focal point on the walkway.
The Optic is housed in a transparent structure along the proposed new walkway at Victoria Wharf.
