CBEC was involved in the renovation of two of the Great Lighthouses of Ireland; St Johns Point and Fanad Lighthouse. Both operated by the Commissioners of Irish Lights they still play a vital role in maritime safety to this day.
The renovation of Fanad Lighthouse included guest accommodation in the form of three self catered cottages nestled near the foot of the lighthouse.
To complement the crisp and iconic exterior the cottages were sympathetically refurbished in the heritage style. Below are a series of interior photographs.
